Responsibilities
- Assist with and manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution, depending on experience level.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation-related documents.
- Participate in case strategy, fact investigation, and client communications.
- Attend and assist with depositions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and court appearances.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management and successful client outcomes.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey Bar, or recent law school graduate currently awaiting bar results.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Prior civil litigation experience, including case management, discovery, and motion practice, is preferred but not required.
- Self-motivated, organized, and eager to develop as a litigator in a fast-paced environment.
Recent graduates hired while awaiting bar admission will have the opportunity to transition into an attorney role upon successful admission to the bar.
