About the Role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead inventory planning and demand forecasting across our client's global supply chain. This individual will serve as the operational owner of inventory strategy, partnering closely with Product, Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sales, and Finance to ensure the right inventory is in the right place at the right time.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building planning processes from the ground up and wants to have a direct impact on purchasing decisions, production planning, inventory optimization, and supply chain performance within a fast-growing consumer products business.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end inventory planning across all product categories, balancing customer demand, inventory investment, and service levels.
  • Develop rolling demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales, seasonality, promotions, product launches, and market trends.
  • Lead purchase order planning and production scheduling with manufacturing partners to ensure optimal inventory availability.
  • Partner with Product, Merchandising, Sales, and Finance to translate commercial forecasts into executable supply plans.
  • Manage inventory allocation across distribution centers, ERP virtual warehouses, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
  • Monitor inventory health, including weeks of supply, inventory turns, excess inventory, stockouts, safety stock levels, and forecast accuracy.
  • Build inventory and supply chain dashboards to track KPIs, production timelines, inbound shipments, and warehouse performance.
  • Analyze product sell-through and recommend replenishment strategies to maximize product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Logistics teams to improve lead times, inbound freight planning, and overall supply chain efficiency.
  • Support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) activities by providing data-driven inventory and supply planning recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on forecasting accuracy, planning automation, reporting, and operational scalability.
  • Provide financial analysis around inventory investment, working capital, and purchasing decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in Inventory Planning, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Strong experience managing purchase orders, production planning, inventory allocation, and replenishment planning.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial and inventory modeling.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into operational decisions.
  • Experience working within ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with supply chain concepts including:
    • Demand Planning

    • Warehouse Operations
    • 3PL Management
  • Experience supporting consumer products, retail, footwear, apparel, or ecommerce businesses is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment where processes continue to evolve.
